Lync 2013 on Office Pro Plus 2013 would not connect

Hello,

We wanted to start using Office Pro Plus 2013 that also inclused Lync 2013. Our problem is that we havent been able to connect to office. We thought of trying the online Sign in Assistant for Lync 2013 but no success yet. We are asking the expert here to assist us with a step by step guide on how to solve this error.

Lync 2013 on Office Pro Plus 2013 would not connect

Hi Stephen,
The error is because the Domain name server configuration values are different.
The solution to it is:
1) Click the icon and 'Open' page
2) In the 'Lync Options' dialog box, Click 'Personal'
3) In the sign-in address, Click 'Advanced'
4) In the Advanced Connections Settings, Select 'Manual Configuration'
5) Check the configuration values for Internal Server and external server name are: sipdir.online.lync.com:443
6) Set the configuration values to the above values if they don't match
