Mac fails to open due to memory error

Hello,

When I opened my laptop this morning this error appeared on my desktop. Is for the first time when I have this error and I cannot Ignore it because it appears again. Can anyone help me please with this error ? Is there a problem with 8GB of RAM ?

There’s not enough memory to perform the requested operation.

Please shutdown IDEA and increase – Xmx setting inoptdevToolsIntellif IDEA 6.0.app/Contents/Info.plist.

Mac fails to open due to memory error

Hi!!

Your problem is may be because:-

• Of lack of computing memory or any of your memory sticks may become unsupportable. 
• You have 8 GB ram, which is not very much. You should consider upgrading it.
•  Check out the Activity Monitor to find out which of the applications are eating up the memory. You can try aborting them as well.
