Mac OS does not print on shared printer

Hello! I don't know how to make Mac OS 10.9.5 print using shared printer. Drivers have been installed for Canon MF4350D , MF3010. Printers connected to Windows 7, shared and have no passwords, everybody can print, there is no password, nothing. Only when it comes to Mac OS I try to print and it asks me for password and then document get stuck in the queue showing that it needs authentication. Please assist as I don't know even wherre I should start looking for the problem.

Mac OS does not print on shared printer

Other people have encountered the same problem as you. Two solution ideas were given:



Solution #1: delete only the problem printer:



1. On your computer, go to the Printer & Scan panel and delete the printer off the list.



2. Create a "new" printer, but do not re-use the same name it was before. Put in a different name instead.



3. Re-install the printer by selecting the driver, etc.



Solution #2: delete all the printers:



Follow the same steps as above, but re-installing each printer, not just the problematic one.
