Mail preview gadget and windows 8

I need help as I have done a upgrade to Windows 8 and have mail preview gadget 1.0.1.7. All other apps are running properly
in new OS but I do not see latest mail alerts in my mail preview gadget.

The latest version of Windows 8 mail preview widget is 1.0.1.9 so that means updating your widget can be a big help to solve this issue.
