Malwarebytes Anti Malware updater error

Hello,

However, when I clicked the Check for updates, I got this error message now I am trying to resolve this issue but I can’t do this without your help. I need your assistance so that I may not face this problem. Please provide a solution with some easy steps. Thanks in advance.

Malwarebytes Anti Malware updater error

Hi Scott,
The error is because the older version of Malware is installed in the system.
To resolve this error follow the steps as stated below:
1) Download the latest mbam clean file from the Malware Website
2) Run the downloaded file on your system
3) It will prompt you to restart your system after successful installation
4) Restart the system
5) Disable the firewall and install latest version from the Malewarebytes Official website
6) Install the latest version in the system
7) Restart the system after installation is completed

Malwarebytes Anti Malware updater error

1. Download and run mbam-clean.exe.

2. It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very  important.

3. After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and    install the latest version of Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware.

 

You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version

Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.

Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications.
