MAPI Programs in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007

Hi Friends,

I have heard about Messaging Application Program Interface, that enables us to send email from and within a Windows application. I would like to have it set on my PC, Please advice about how to set MAPI Programs in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.

MAPI Programs in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007

Hello Tomee

Here is what you have to do in order to set MAPI in Microsoft Outlook 2007.

Go to Control Panel, select User Accounts and then click on Mail. Be sure that you have exited MS Outlook before you do this.

Select E-Mail accounts and click New. Select E-mail Account, click Next. In there, select the option Manually configure server settings or additional server types. In the new windows, select Microsoft Exchange or compatible service. Enter the details and click on More Settings. In there, go to the Security tab and check the Encryption box and select Negotiate Authentication under Logon network security.

That is all you have to do.
