Hello,

I've effectively set up the Digital Purchase edition of Mass Effect.

There are no known error messages happened while I was downloading as well as installing, but on one occasion it auto-configure the settings of my PC, and then a error occurs once I click 'Play'.

When I click 'OK', it shuts.

Mass Effect – Error Message

Hello Stephanie,

What you are getting is more likely to be a Direct x or driver issue. If it is a Direct x driver issue, you will need to download a full install.exe and then reinstall the latest drivers, that is even if you already have the latest drivers installed. Once you have done that, you can go ahead and  grab the latest graphics card drivers and then install them.

In the event that you have the latest graphics card drivers, you will need to install the previous drivers and after that try configuring the application again. It should be able to work this time round as long as you configured the settings properly.

Regards,

Carl
