McAfee update manager has stopped working.

Hi, I use McAfee on my Windows Vista home premium 32 bit PC. Recently I am getting this error which I never seen before.

I think my McAfee update manager is not working at all. I am currently using a IE 8 as my browser.

Can anyone tell me the reason I am having this problem?

Hope there is a solution to this problem.

McAfee update manager has stopped working.

Hi,

You have received the error or problem reports on your Windows Vista regarding McAfee Antivirus. There are a few reasons behind it. First your Windows Automatic Update option is turned off. If it is so it will not work any more. So make the Windows Automatic Update option turned on.

It will automatically make your required software update. It will download all required systems and finally through a popup box for confirmation while installing the downloaded update software. So it is very easy to get all the software updated.

You can also check that the internet connection is not timed out.
