Hello!

Look, you have to wait for Android OS v4.0 (ICS) to be released. I think that if the need is really urgent, you need to root it up. After all, you may use it again. Now, the question is if this version is supported on your device. Well, you may get 100% support but you may experience a slow performance, which will bore you when you use i.

Now, think what you should really do.

Best of luck!

Hello George,

Since your phone runs on the Android OS v2.2 an official update for Android OS v4.0 (ICS) is definitely not on the cards. Hence, if you still want to go for it then you have to root your Android Device. Coming to the second part of your question, yes it will definitely support your device but the performance will show no difference with the current Froyo. The OS needs a good processor and RAM along with it to perform at its best. Based on the configuration of your phone performance wise you would not see much a difference, in fact it may deteriorate since the resources on your phone are less. I hope this must have given you an idea of your problem. Cheers.
