I have been using Media Monkey for sometime now. I haven’t been having any issues, but lately after the upgrade to MM 129 I have been getting error message pop ups.
The previous Version of 2. X MM did not come up with any error messages on my Windows 7 Ultimate machine. This error keeps coming up repeatedly, when I try to go to the last played list or if I go and select anything from the playlist.
The error occurs in a loop and keeps coming back again and again. As a result this I am having to play just one single song for a long time.
Here is what it comes up with:
Â
There was a problem querying the database: Error executing SQL “SELECT Songs.IDArtist,Played.PlayDate FROM (Songs INNER JOIN Played ON Songs.ID=Played.IdSong) Inner JOIN Artists ON Songs.IDArtist =Artists.Artist Like ‘Royksopp’ ORDER BY Played.PlayDate DESC “: no such column: Songs.IDArtist(1,1)
Â
Is there some place where I can enable the logging, to check what is exactly happening?

Media Monkey pop’s up with error message
Â
Dear Mark,
Â
MediaMonkey is a media application, which plays media files (songs) and other files using plugins (videos). It has freeware and GOLD version (Buying the application). Â Your MediaMonkey copy may be corrupted or it may be attacked by a virus or the update of the application might not completed fully.
Â
You can try the following:
Â
-
Uninstall the application.
-
Reinstall the application again with recommended settings and with necessary plugins.
-
Add all media files (songs, videos) to the application's media list.
-
now open the application and play media files again.

If you need to download the latest version of this application, here are some links:

Your Media Monkey software may be damaged. You have to uninstall it, reinstall a fresh one and perform all the necessary settings and plugins, and then try to use it again. I hope that will be all.
