Meet the New Internet Explorer
The first thing that I noticed about the Internet Explorer 9 is, it is really overhauled interface. It's search box is so simple like the Google Chrome. Does it support only basic HTML 5?

No. It's not just the basic one.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 or simply Internet Explorer 9 was released on March 14, 2011. It supports Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2. Its development began right after Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 was released and was first announced at the Professional Developers Conference 2009.
It had eight platform preview releases and on February 10, 2011, the release candidate was released featuring enhanced performance, modifications to the user interface, and additional standards support. On March 14, 2011, the final version was released during the South by Southwest Interactive conference in Austin, Texas. The 32-bit version of Internet Explorer 9 has a much faster JavaScript performance because of “Chakra”, its new JavaScript engine.
The browser also features hardware-accelerated video rendering with Media Foundation, hardware-accelerated graphics rendering with Direct2D, hardware-accelerated text rendering with DirectWrite, imaging support by Windows Imaging Component, and XPS print pipeline which provides high fidelity printing. It also supports HTML5 audio and video tags and the Web Open Font Format.
In Europe, Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 has to be removed from Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 but Microsoft eventually included it together with a browser option screen giving users an option to select any of several web browsers which includes Microsoft Internet Explorer.
