Metafile Download Failed Error on Adobe Reader
Where are you downloading the application from? Is it is from some untrusted third party sites then that is the possible cause of the problem. I will recommend that you to the following:
-
Go to the adobe site, and that you will do by typing www.adobe.com in the address bar on your browser and then press enter to open the site.
-
You should see a search field in the adobe browser.
-
You will need to type adobe reader in the search field and then press enter to open it.
-
Or alternatively, look for downloads on that page and then click on it, and when it opens look for adobe reader and click on it.
-
Download adobe reader from there and install it.
-
It should install without any problems.

Metafile Download Failed Error on Adobe Reader
Hello Ocheng,
The report is that your downloading metafile would not able to download properly. It was missing some original file to proper working. As your metafile url cannot recognize to serve.
You can download this Adobe from alternative site. You may get this application. The unregister file need to original version. From the uploading time it lost the full version or the recent file will ask for download.
You can re install the downloader you used. That will able to download easily.
Before re install you have to scan your whole system through Anti Virus. Do not install any illegal version of this software as it always contains viruses.

Metafile Download Failed Error on Adobe Reader
Many thanks Thomson Locker and Cruise berry.
I downloaded another installer from adobe.com just to be safe and sure that I have the updated and complete version. I also scanned first my system and found some suspicious files. Thank you for reminding me to scan.
