Hi, there are ways to change the computer name in an Active Directory, but I cannot find one. How do I rename a computer on domain with easier steps?

Method To Rename A Computer On Domain In The Directory.

I understand that sometimes it is absolutely necessary to rename the computer name in an AD domain based on the circumstances. Here are the easier steps to do that:

1. Go to the Workstation and find your way to Control Panel.
2. Select System Applet and click on the option to change PC name or domain membership.
3. Rename your computer and click OK to save changes and restart the computer for the effect to take place.
