Apart from using recovery tools that have repeatedly failed, what other methods and procedures on how to restore deleted mkv file could I utilize in a Windows 7 environment?

Hi,

To restore your deleted files in windows 7 by the name restoring previous version. This feature is additional in windows 7. If the restore feature is enabled follow these steps to restore deleted files.

1. Go to the windows explorer

2. Open the folder from which files get deleted by mistake from you.

3. Right click on the folder. Options will appear and in these options, restore to previous point just click on it.

4. It will open the version of the folders.

5. Select the correct version because you will know it better.

6. Now just clicks on restore and it will be restored to its location.
