Hi, Linux OS is the most effective open source OS available today. I am trying to install VMware tools Linux on my laptop. How can I do it?

Methods To Install VMware Tools Linux On The OS.

VMware Tools can be installed in Linux with the TAR installer in a terminal window. RPM installer from the Command Line also prompts to install VMware Tools. Switch on the VM and go to the Linux OS and choose Install VMware Tools from VM. Run the TAR VMware installer and after the completion, log off the root account. Start the graphical environment after starting X. Launch the VMware Tools BG application from the X terminal.
