Microsoft Access 2010 car wash db not assessable.

I created Access 2010 car wash Database for my client 4 months ago, 2 days ago he had to reinstall everything and since then he can’t open database.

I was wondering if someone knows why he is not able to open database after reinstall and what could be done to rectify this issue?

Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Hi Caecil,

Have you tried checking the computer if it contains a virus? 

A virus can, in any way, corrupt your files including the files that are very important to you.

Try scanning the computer for viruses and reinstalling the program.

If possible, can you specify what error appears when he tries to open the file?

If the file is corrupted then you can give another copy to your client.

Or he can use an antivirus to clean the corrupted files. There are instances that corrupted files can no longer be cleaned. In that case, the only way is to have another copy of your database.

Make sure that the computer is clean and virus free so it won’t happen again.

There are a lot of antivirus that you can use like Kaspersky, AVG, ESET, Avira, etc..
