Microsoft CRM 4.0 Can’t Login

Hello guys, I have an issue while logging in to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.

Whenever I try to login, I get an error saying

INVALID ACTION

The selected action was not valid.

One of my friends has also asked me for help regarding this same issue, but I have no ideas.

He is facing this problem in his office where Microsoft CRM does not allow any of their users to log in. Even the administrator’s account is not able to login.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Dillard!

Do not worry about this error. I had also faced this error a month ago. I succeeded to overcome this error.

It is a simple and very easy procedure. When the first time this error prompts on my computer screen, first i searched on internet but got nothing to solve this problem. Anyways I opened the windows Event Viewer.

There, on the first line it was written "Current active key (KeyType : CrmWRPCTokenKey) is expired. 

This can indicate that a key is not being regenerated properly"

So what i do to solve this problem was a single step.

What you have to do is just to make sure that on CRM server "Microsoft CRM Asynchronous Processing Service" is checked and is started.

Your problem is solved.
