Microsoft Expression Studio 4.0 Setup-Exception Error

Hi people,

A gibberish message is displayed when I try to extract files from Microsoft Expression Studio 4 (which I downloaded) using PowerISO. The following is the message:

 

 

Microsoft Expression Studio Setup

 

Exception has been thrown by the target of an

invocation.[A]XSetupLic.ConfigLicense cannot be cast to

[B]XSetupLic.ConfigLicense. Type A originates from 'XSetupLic,

Version=4.0.20525.0, Culture: neutral,

PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' in the context 'LoadNeither' at

location

'C:UsersAdministratorAppDataLocalTempSPowerlSOSSetupXSet

Will someone please tell me how to extract this file? I need help badly please give me a solution.

Microsoft Expression Studio 4.0 Setup-Exception Error

Here are the two things that you can do to get this error fixed:

• One reason why you are getting this error is because you did not extract the file first and instead you went ahead and open the setup.exe file. In order to avoid this, extract the .iso file then proceed with setup. It should now allow you to extract files flawlessly.
• You might have encountered an error upon installing Expression Studio 4 without your knowledge. Try un-installing and  re-installing all components one by one and it should work fine after that.
