Hey, The system requirements for microsoft office mac 2011 update are the Mac OS X and to check if the PC has minimum requirements just click on the Apple menu > About This Mac. Following are the steps to gollow to update the mac 2011 :

• Firslt click download and then follow up the instructions.
• Later double click the installed file to update the OS.
• Now restart the application to get the effects of the updates
• If it is updated then remove the HDD.
