Could you please elaborate more on this error during installation of MS Office Professional 2010? What can I do to prevent the installation process of encountering this?

Microsoft Office Professional 2010 Trial encountered an error during setup

Dear user,

For this problem, follow these steps:

I will recommend you to re-register the Windows Installer and in the %TEMP% folder, check for permissions and in the C:WindowsInstaller folder for having full-control.

For re-registering on the Windows Installer, run these commands:

 

msiexec /unregister

msiexec /register

Microsoft Office Professional 2010 Trial encountered an error during setup

Hi,

To Solve your problem. Try the following instruction:

1. Try to rename the ‘Microsoft Help’ folder. 

2. Then click to  install the Office 2010 package .

Please follow the steps given to rename:

1. First Click on Start Manu -> All Programs-> Accessories -> Run.

2. In the box Type %Programdata% and Click OK.

3. Then  rename the 'Microsoft Help' folder as 'Microsoft Help. OLD'.

Now check if it works. Best of luck.
