Hi friends,

Friends, I am getting this error message whenever I try to open Microsoft Outlook in my computer. I download and installed from the authorized website and it is a licensed one. I tried to repair but it was unsuccessful and I tried to restart the system but no magic happened. Experts please contribute your ideas your help is appreciated. Thank you.

Microsoft Office can’t find your license for this application. A repair attempt was unsuccessful or was cancelled. Microsoft Office will now exit.

Microsoft Office is unable to find out license for this application

The licensing of MS Office 2013 product depends on a service called “SOFTWARE PROTECTION”. If this service starts malfunctioning, this error will appear.

You have to start/restart the service to solve your issue.

1. Go to Start menu.
2. Type “run” >> hit Enter.
3. Type “services.msc” >> hit Enter.
4. Scroll down and find out the service “SOFTWARE PROTECTION”.
5. Double-click to open “Properties”.
6. Set the “Startup type” to “Automatic”.
7. Set the “Service status” to “Started”. Just hit the “Start” button.
8. Press “OK”.

Now your error message will disappear for sure.
