Hi,

Microsoft Outlook has encountered an error while opening a scheduled task.

It cannot find the task and fail operation.

I do not know how to fix the error.

Please help.

Cannot open Calendar folder for user TestRoom1. The operation failed.

Hello Brian,

You will need to clean up the forms cache and see if that will resolve the issue. To do so, follow these steps:

• On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the other tab, and then click Advanced Options.
• After that click Custom Forms, and then click Manage Forms.
• After that click Clear Cache, and then close all open windows, and then restart Outlook.

Microsoft Outlook has encountered an error while opening a scheduled task

Rather than clearing the cache for outlook, try backing up your outlook data file first. After that, remove your outlook account by going to the Control Panel, then mail.

 

Click on email accounts, then remove your email account. After you remove it, restart your PC, then re-setup your email account by going to email accounts, then click New. Setup will run you through the steps. After Setup, attach your previous outlook data file, the open outlook. This problem should be fixed.
