My Housemate just got a WiFi ready for the house connection from his PC, but as I have been trying to connect my Mac Lion an error connection pops up, I thought there must be something wrong with the service Provider or the router but my mate’s PC and laptop are working just fine, and so I guess compatible error must be the case., since we are running a different OS.
Can anyone tell me, is Microsoft rdc Mac lion compatible with each other? If not, what should I do to resolve this issue?

Hello,
As I found on internet Microsoft rdc and Mac Lion are compatible with each other. You forgot to mention which error you got so we can't help you. Maybe you use an older version of library for making connections. In order to fix that go to this site:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=465 and download latest version of RDC for Mac.
I hope this will help you.
Regards.

Try to read through the user manual of your friend's router, as you might be experiencing difficulties to navigate through his device. Try to know his router's password, as he might have done a setup wherein password protection is set to WPA or WPA2, or he might have set his router to block other devices to his router.
