I think there is a missing file in your installation of Microsoft Visual Studio. Or maybe some of its files got corrupted that is why it can not be accessed by the application and it appears in the error message as missing component or missing file.
Try uninstalling Microsoft Visual Studio from your computer then install it back. This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and will restore its settings back to default. Try it again after reinstalling the application.
If it does not work, try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. There are errors in the file system that can cause programs to behave indifferently. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like PC Tools Performance Toolkit, Norton Utilities, or Norton SystemWorks.
