Hi,

To answer your concern, there are several easy ways to fix this winsock.dll error.

First, you might want to check your recycle bin. There are instances that some computer users delete their computer’s winsock.dll accidentally.

So open up your recycle bin and if it’s there, just restore it back. Now if you keep on getting this error every time you’re on your PC and even after having this issue fixed previously, chances are you have a virus or malware in your system.

If this is the case, run your anti-virus/malware scanner to check for any malicious file that’s causing it.
