Although Xbox 360 is growing and Microsoft has improved all its features. There is no talk on how Microsoft will using Xbox 360 to linking to a subscriber's phone or laptop, but this can connect to Xbox Live with a 3G phone manually yourself.
It is better if the phone has an unlimited data plan and internet sharing. For this process to work you will have to connect the 3G phone to the Xbox 360 that has to be connected to a PC.
-
To connect phone to computer use a USB cord (may take a minute for drivers to be installed).
-
Open the control panel and click on network and sharing to open the network list right click the 3G phone network connection.
-
Select properties.
-
Click sharing (this allows others to connect to your connection remember your wanting to play with other players).
-
Click ok then close control panel.
-
Create an ad hoc network open control panel.
-
Select network and sharing options.
-
Select and open the list for wireless networks.
-
Create new network by clicking on add.
-
The system will ask to start ad hoc wireless network.
-
SSID and network key needs to be set. (SSID is name of your wireless network).
-
There is no need to create a network key (can be created if you want to secure your ad hoc connection).
-
To finalize the connection click next.
-
Now turn on the Xbox 360 only (do not insert any games).
-
Press the Xbox symbol on joystick to return to Xbox dashboard.
-
Look for network setting and wireless networks.
-
