I am trying to help a friend in using Outlook 2007. He configured his email into Outlook 2007 but he encountered a problem in the deleted items folder. All the deleted emails disappeared immediately which is very unusual. Do you have any idea why is it happening? Is there a setting that will save all the deleted emails on the deleted items folder? Help me on this please. Thanks.

Try creating new outlook profile and let me know if it solve your issue. To be able to create new profile on outlook, you can do the following steps.

Go to start and click run

Type in control panel

On a dialog box, open your mail set up

Click show profiles on dialog box

Click promp for a profile to be used in the General tab

Create an account by filling in your desired username, password and email

Click ok

Click add new email account in the dialog box

Click Next
-
Click finish
You can also start outlook using the resett folder switch. Just go to START and then Run. Type in outloox.exe/resetfolders. Or you can visit the link below for more information.
