Missing step to flash paint program tutorial

I have downloaded a flash paint program tutorial and with this question is the link: http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorial/Simple-Flash-Painting-Program/24343. I have followed all the steps to the lesson and it says at the conclusion that I will be able to add more colors, etc to the saved file. But what I experienced was the complete opposite. I cannot tweak and play with the file anymore. Any suggestions as to how I can edit my art file more? Maybe the link missed something?

Hi Ave,

I read you given link its perfect as they said in there tutorial may be you missed something you have to do it again and in this tutorial they didn't said that you can use multicolor, I have easy solution you have to read tutorial from Flash Website.

Missing step to flash paint program tutorial

Dear,

There could be only one reason for this problem. You need to check the format in which you have saved the file. If you want to edit it later then the file must be saved as a default format of 'Flash Painting Program' otherwise it won't work. You might have saved it in JPEG or some other non editable format.

For example if somebody is working on Photoshop, file should be saved in PSD or TIFF format for the later on editing. If you save file in the JPEG format you will not be able to redo, undo or any editing.
