Missing WMVCore.DLL Error When Downloading Movie Maker

I don’t know why my Movie Maker gone missing in my Windows XP. When I tried downloading one, the message Missing WMVCore.DLL pops-up and I can’t continue the download. What does this mean?

I don’t know why my Movie Maker gone missing in my Windows XP. When I tried downloading one, the message Missing WMVCore.DLL pops-up and I can’t continue the download. What does this mean?

Download the dll file provided on the link above. Extract the dll file with WinRar and save it to your desktop and do the following:
1. Click Start> Run.
2. Type CMD on the run box and then hit the Enter key. If you are running Windows ME, type COMMAND.
3. Type regsvr32 [the dll filename] and then hit the Enter key.

Don’t panic, this is not a big problem at all. As previous suggestion is not working, then follow the steps.
1. You need to have the windows setup file
2. Insert it in your CD/DVD Rom and restart the computer
3. Repair your windows operating system
4. At the appearance of welcome screen of windows setup, press/select R to go to recovery console.
5. You may have to select the language before installation as well as the operating system
Again if you don’t have the setup disk, then you can simply repair the windows by pressing F8 while booting. But this is not well performed for missing files
