Monitor Display works fine after Slapping

I have CRT Samsung Sync Master Monitor. I am using it from past 2 years. It used to work fine but now the display goes off automatically and sometimes the colors are distorted and when I give a hard slap to my monitor it starts working fine. What is the issue? How to resolve it?

Monitor Display works fine after Slapping

As the CRT monitors are getting replaced by LCD/LED monitors, CRT monitors are still good if available.

On reading your issue, the problem is inside the monitor, that is why, when you hit the display gets changing. As a permanent solution, the monitor has to be taken to a Monitor expert for servicing of the damaged electronic components like transistor / resistor / capacitor or such. Distorted displays are due to weak electronic components or contact issue with any components.
