MONITOR IMAGES MOVING UP AND DOWN ON THE SCREEN

Hello,

I am using a cq1859s LCD Monitor. When I stay on the internet for long browsing, the screen starts to move images up and down. I try to hold the mouse but I cannot stop. It goes on for some time (about 10 minutes) then it stops, but will start again later. What causes this problem and how can it be solved?

Please Help me know.

Thank you.

Solomons.

Is the monitor newly bought? If the monitor is new then problem would be the flex that is in the neck line of the monitor because LCD monitors are very sensitive. When the flex is moved with much force, it causes the damage of the flex, then the effect would reflect on the screen which is the screen starts to move images up and down.

Some cause would also be an over use of the monitor meaning, we over use the capacity of any devices which causes wires to overheat inside. If it continues to move up and down then try to go to the store where you bought the LCD monitor and have it checked with their technician, it’s free to check if it still has a warranty given when you bought the LCD monitor.

LCD monitors are very sensitive

Hi good day,

Your LCD hardware got a problem because the LCD cable wire or flex is defected, or some of Capacitor got a lake, Consult that into the expert like Electronic Technician they will know how to fix that kind of problem.

Thank you and have a great day.

That problem is not with your CPU or with the operating system but with the monitor itself. If your monitor is analog or the non-flat screen one, try pressing the “degauss” button and see if it fixes the up and down moving of the images on your screen. In my old analog monitor before, when it was still working, I normally use the degauss function to remove screen artifacts.

With the flat screen monitors nowadays, I don’t think there is still a degauss button. If your monitor doesn’t have the degauss button, try to turn it off for about five to ten minutes (5 – 10). After this, turn it back on and see if it works. This may work but may not last longer and will go back to the same problem.

If the problem repeats, I guess the best way to deal with it is to get it serviced. Bring it to an electronic service center and get it serviced.
