Monitor Plasma Or LCD for office use

Friends, I want to purchase monitor for my office use. My friend suggests me to purchase plasma instead of LCD. Please suggest what should I purchase as its matter of one time investment for me.

Monitor Plasma Or LCD for office use

 Both Plasma and LCD provides great pictures with high definition. If you are using your system for normal  purposes like internet usage or streaming Video then you will not experience much of a difference. But if you are watching or say playing High definition games, then plasma is better as they give sharp color resolution compared to LCD. LCD may have bad pixel. In LCDs, image brightness fades as you move to side of screen from front.When coming to Power usage LCD consumes less power as compared to that of Plasma. LCD monitors are light weight and have higher lifetime.When coming to cost both plasma and LCD are competitive. They may cost no more than $250.

For computers, I think LCD is better choice,like Plasma for home theaters as they work good in dark.

Monitor Plasma Or LCD for office use

 

I am looking for a new monitor and i do play a lot of games. So I think I should go for plasma since according to the expert it gives better effects. Thanks
