How to solve the error in the profile of Photoshop Monitor:

Hello

After upgrading and changing a monitor on my Pc, I get an error message when I am opening Adobe Photoshop.

I get the following error: The monitor profile is corrupted or default monitor profile appears to be defective

Mainly the error is occurred in that profile which has not been set up by Adobe Photoshop for the fresh monitor.

I need to solve it. Please help. Thanks.

The monitor profile (profile name) is corrupted

Try changing the monitor profile using Adobe Gamma Wizard from the Control Panel. It has pretty easy wizard showing you the step-by-step procedure to create a new profile. If you follow all the steps it will solve your problem and you will be able to use Photoshop using your new profile.

The best solution for your problem is to create a new monitor profile using the gamma wizard. Just follow these steps,

1.       Goto Start > Settings >Control Panel > Adobe Gamma

2.       Choose Step-by-step and hit next.

3.       Provide title for your profile and click Next.

4.       Now you have to adjust the controls of your Monitor manually.

5.       After the necessary settings give your profile a new name and click Save.

Hopefully, you will be able to launch photoshop using this profile without any issue.
