I am working in the hardware department of IT Company and have offered the task of rewiring of cables. I am just not familiar with the different types of cables available. I have read about the difference between CAT6 and CAT6A cablesbut didn’t understand well. Please guide me thoroughly!
The Most Vital Difference Between CAT6 And CAT6A Cables
CAT6 and CAT6A cables differ in the following features: The thick plastic casing used in the manufacturing of CAT6A cables has made it more long-lasting and further reduced the crosstalk. However, the most crucial difference between CAT6 and CAT6A remain that the latter can maintain 10GB speed for a length of 328 feet of Ethernet cable. Ultimately, the newest iteration CAT6A is future-proofed. But then again, CAT6 will be sufficient for the residential and commercial purpose.
