Motherboard starts but does not work

Hi! Motherboard ASUS P4B533-Х starts working but actually doesn't work as the monitor stays black. I decided to change motherboard because the previous one did not support USB 2.0. With the new one I tried many options, please advice what can I do. Graphic card GV-N56X128D-P, CPU Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.66 GHz, memory 2х512 Мб, Socket 478. Also the question: are socket 478 and 478B different ones?

Motherboard starts but does not work

Hello!

Since you wrote that your motherboard starts working, then the problem isn't in proper installation. You should check all the wires inside, to see if any of them isn't damaged. Also, check the power button, if plus and minus symbols are connected in a right way. On top of all, find the latest Bios version.
