How to move the text box in Excel?
Hi Santoshyadav!
You need to CLICK on anywhere on the text box to highlight it. Make sure you have the cross sign pointer and not the left-right sign. HOLD it in and simply DRAG it to move the text box to anywhere you want it.
Take note, the pointer of the mouse should not be on the corner which is called the sizing handles. Dragging the latter would either enlarge or squeeze the size of the text box which you do not want to happen.
If you want to move the text box in chart to another sheet without changing its size again, just right-click on the text box and then left-click on MOVE CHART. Tick on Object in and then select on any available sheet you want to move it.
How to move the text box in Excel?
You can move or increase the size of the text box in a chart without increasing the chart size.
I will take the following Pie chart as and example.
Now I will change the size of the font of the heading. (Current font size in 18)
First click on the heading and select the heading from left to right.
Then click on the font size option in the font section which is in home tab.
Click on the font size that you want to change. (I will change font size in to 28)
Now the font size will have been increase without increasing the chart size as follows.
Further I will show how to move the text box in a chart.
I will move the amount (150,000.00) which is relevant to “Hassel”.
Click on that amount. Then a box will be appeared around the amount.
Click on a line of that box and move it to out as follows.
As such you are able to change or move text boxes in a chart.
