My operating system is Windows XP. I am using Mozilla Firefox browser as default browser. Sometimes, I am having problem with Mozilla Firefox. It shows a error message "The connection was reset". My Firefox version is 3.0. The error also tells "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading". Â What should I do to fix this error?

Mozilla firefox- connection was reset error.
It is because of excessive amount of cookies, cache and other temporary internet files stored on your machine. You can try cleaning cookies and cache files. Â Follow these steps:
1)Â Â Â Â Â Open Firefox
2)Â Â Â Â Â Click on TOOLS.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Select CLEAR RECENT HISTORY or you can use shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Del instead.
4)Â Â Â Â Â Select Everything in Time range to clear
5)Â Â Â Â Â Click on Details to display the list of items that can be cleared and check all boxes to clear history effectively.
6)Â Â Â Â Â Click on Clear Now.
If problem's not been solved yet, you can try re-installing Firefox, or you can install older version of Firefox since it’s a recent bug for recent version of Firefox.

Mozilla firefox- connection was reset error.
This happens when you have slow or intermittent internet connectivity. Make sure your internet connection is not currently having problems and make sure it is not congested, meaning there aren't too many users who may max out the available bandwidth causing each of the connected devices to have a very slow connection to the internet through the network.
You might also want to update your Firefox version as it is quite obsolete. The new version and quite a number of features that should help out with speeding up your browsing. You should be able to get the latest version here:
