Hello,
This is really annoying to be honest.
I have MS office 13 on Windows 8 machine
I am trying to uninstall but I could not, it shows error saying that "something has gone wrong"
I tried killing all the related processes from task manager but they did not go either.
Please help.
Thanks

The issue you are facing is because some related files are being used by a different program. You may not be able to identify through task manager. The simplest solution is to reboot the system and to uninstall Office 2013 first thing when the reboot is completed. If this does not work, download this FixIT.
It is from Microsoft, so download and run it. It will remove all associated files. Click on the link, save the file in a location, open the location and run it. Do not run the application from the download box itself.

There are two ways to uninstall MS Office from Windows 8:
Uninstall from Start screen:
On the Start screen of Windows 8, Right-click on the Office 2013 tiles and then click Uninstall button that appears at the bottom of the Window.
Uninstall from the Control Panel:
Using Touch, swipe in from the right of window and tap Search.
Type Control panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
Click on the Office suite and Click Uninstall.
If you face problems like you have mentioned in uninstalling Office, you can follow to uninstall it manually:
· Touch and Swipe from right edge > Tap Search > Type CMD in the Apps box.
· Right-click “Command Prompt” in results > Select Run as Administrator.
· Finally, type these commands and press Enter after each command:
cd “C:Program filesMicrosoft Office 15rootintegration”
integrator.exe /U
schtasks.exe /delete /tn “FF_INTEGRATEDstreamSchedule”
schtasks.exe /delete /tn “FF_INTEGRATEDUPDATEDETECTION”
schtasks.exe /delete /tn “FF_INTEGRATEDOffice 15 Subscription Heartbeat”
sc delete OfficeSvc
