Hello guys,
I have a P4 computer with MS Office 2003 installed in it. Yesterday my friend advised me to upgrade it to MS Office 2007. So I installed the Office pro 2007 trial version.Although it’s a good version but I received an unknown error (mentioned below),when I tried to update Schema through Add-ins.I don’t have any idea about this error.

Microsoft Office Word
One or more schemas you have selected cannot be used in this document. Aschema may not be available, may not be valid, or may require additional schemas in order to function correctly.Â
Do have any idea related to this error? Any sort of help will be appreciated!
Thanks

MS Office Upgrade unknown error
Hi,
According to the message It is necessary to install the missing XML schemas on your system when upgrading from Office 2003 to Office 2007. You can find more information here.
Before installing exit any Microsoft Office package applications and then run the above executable file and restart the machine. If this does not fix your problem I recommend you to uninstall Both Office 2003 and 2007 packages and reinstall Office 2007.
You said you are still trying the Trail version, so before installing you need to clear old registry entries related to office 2007.
- Navigate to start > Run > type ‘RegEdit’ and go to Registry Editor.
- Now click Edit > Find and type ‘Microsoft Office 2007’ and click find.
- Remove all entries related to Office 2007 by selecting the entry& right click > delete.
- Then Press F3 and repeat till it is over. If you have any doubts about dealing with registry do not try this because it must be done with great care.
