Hi friends,
I am consulting here an error I meet while using Microsoft Word in the office over a network file server, I had a problem saving my file to the server, I received an error message that goes There has been a network of file permission error. The network connection may be lost.
There has been a network or file permission error. The network connection may be lost
The error message above is suggesting for a network connection problem, I already check my connection toward the server and its been up and running, when I tried other files I can save it, only this file has a problem.
Please share some ideas on this scenarios, thanks.

MS-Word: There has been a network or file permission error
If you're saving your work over a network using a Microsoft Word, then you will receive the error that you mention above. To handle this problem try this methods. First is you have to save your file in to your local Disk or Local Drive.
It might be in you’re my documents or the a drive that is not on a network nor shared. To do that, is you have to click the file open on the MS Word then click SAVE AS, now in the save as dialog box, change the location in the save in box where you want to save the document, once done just click save.

No, you got it all wrong. The error message doesn’t imply about a problem in the connection. The error means that you probably don’t have enough rights to save your file on to that network drive.
The next thing that you should do is to ask your network administrator to check your workstation’s sharing rights to save on that particular computer over the network or to add your computer to the list of shared computers of that particular network computer.
There is also another way to save your file to the server. Save your work on a USB flash drive and then copy it to the server using that flash drive. You can only do this if you are allowed to use a USB flash drive in your working area.
