Music playing problem with notifications

Hi there,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 which has this funny issue, when am playing music and I receive a text, the Music will pause well, then text Notification play through both the headphones and loudspeaker, then music will resume playing through both the loudspeaker and headphones, I am forced to stop the music, unplug the headphones, then resume playing the music, settings are okay, what could be the problem? How do I get music to resume playing through the headphones?

Music playing problem with notifications

When your phone is in silent mode, do you still face the same problem?  Do you have all your music stored in SD card, and if not this might be a problem with your SD card. What you can do is, use a shortcut application and go straight to your test notification and set this to ‘none’. Or, you may try to download a music app called power amp and then run a test to check out the problem.
