Why is it that My latest Eset nod 32 anti virus was automatically set to automatic update itself whenever there is an update, but suddenly, I was so shocked to find out that my anti virus was outdated. What happened?

My Anti Virus stop updating itself.

This usually happens when the computer detects that the antivirus software installed is not an original copy. If you're using an original copy of the software, you can try reinstalling it:

1. You should first uninstall Eset nod 32 and remove it's folder from your PC.
2. Go to https://www.eset.com/int/home/antivirus/#download/ and download a fresh copy of the security software and use the typical settings.

Hello Jason,

It’s your wise decision to use Eset nod 32 anti-virus software because this antivirus takes your computer/laptop security to a whole new level. This software doesn't slow down your device and also protect from spyware, Trojans, worms, rootkits, bots and lots of latest Phishing attack.

I think, your license (UserName & password) is expired and that’s why you find such a problem. If your software and license is Genuine and purchase from Eset then you just visit their website and contact with them. They must be able to solve your problem.

But if it’s not, then at first download a latest Eset nod32 anti-virus .When downloading is finished then Uninstall your existing software by following the instruction below.

Click “Start > All programs > Eset > Uninstall > Click ‘Yes’ (to confirm Uninstallation) > Click ‘Finish’ (to reboot your computer).” After the reboot, you need to remove “Eset folder” from “C: Program Files and its very important.

Now you just install your latest downloaded software with valid license (User Name and Password) and use the default proxy setting, default Threat Sense.Net settings and default settings. After Finish installation you must reboot your device.
