My characters and cars are missing after transferring to Xbox One

If you want to transfer your GTA online characters to your Xbox One game console, you will need a copy of Grand Theft Auto V on Xbox One, a Rockstar Games Social Club account, and an Xbox Live Gold account. To create a Rockstar Games Social Club account, in Grand Theft Auto V, accessing any Social Club-enabled feature will cause the game to prompt you to sign in or create a Social Club account.

Simply follow the instructions on how to create your account. Another way to do it is to visit Rockstar Games Social Club using a PC and then create your account. Also, before you can transfer the characters, you have to link your Rockstar Games Social Club account to your Xbox Live account.

To learn how to link your accounts, visit Link Xbox Live and Rockstar Social Accounts. To begin the transfer, on your Xbox One game console, enter the game then pull up the pause menu or the Character Select Wheel. If you have successfully linked your account to the Rockstar Social platform, you will see the option to import your characters.

In PS4, if you already started a new character, it will be deleted. This rule also applies to Xbox One but the difference is that they will combine your current character’s in-game money while the transfer is being processed. All your character’s EXP, in-game properties, trophies, stats, in-game money, and achievements will be transferred over.

Also keep in mind that you can only do the transfer process once.
