My computer is now running slow after installing windows 7

Last week my friend showed me his computer and it was running on windows 7. I like how it looks and I wanted to change my home computer into windows 7 too. So, I had my friend change my operating system into windows 7, but now it is running really slow. I had windows vista running on my computer before and I had no problems with it. How do I fix this?

Hello,

After installing to windows 7,did you install all the drivers.  I am sure that's what making your PC slow. Go to the manufacturer site and find the drivers for your laptop. 

You should also try below link for which troubleshoot and fix the slow windows problem.

Apart from that if you any anti-virus, try disabling that and check whether it improves your system. Also select only the programs which you actually need in startup. Go to command prompt and run msconfig.
