My Computer Restarts before entering the Desktop

Greetings,

I am having a problem in my computer. before it gets into desktop it automatically restarts. I cannot use my computer please give me advise to solve this problem. Please give me some suggestions that I can try to solve my problem.

Hello Laique Ricad

This problem may be because when the system boots up, the files of the OS which are loaded to the memory during the booting process, are not getting loaded. What you can do is to repair your Windows (assuming your OS is Windows) using the OS CD. If nothing works, You would have to reinstall the OS on your system.

Hello,

Sometimes it occurs for poor power supply or reboot problem,However it is? If you don't get any solution you should install XP again. Before that you should do the following that may help you.

I can assume it as virus too, so check your computer for viruses also. You can check your computer voltage in boot menu by pressing F2.

Hi Laique,

Try to boot using safe mode and restore your operating system. Follow below instruction:

1. Boot CPU.
2. On start pause press F8 key.
3. Select Safe mode on selection prompt after pressing F8.
4. Wait until the windows boot on safe mode.
5. Click on start.
6. All programs.
7. Accessories.
8. System tools.
9. System restore.
10. Click on restore computer to earlier time and click next.
11. Select date on restore point that you think that your computer works fine then click next.
12. The computer will reboot it system to the restore point and fix the problem.
