Hallo!
I have Mcafee internet security 2010 on my laptop which I stopped using sometime back. I powered it on and found that the Antivirus was out of date. I updated the software, but I keep getting the message the I upgrade my Antivirus. Apart from that, it is indicating that I am protected. Is it true that my computer is protected or I have to upgrade? Thanks.
Is my computer safe using MCafee internet security 2010?
Hi Hazelwlee,
Thats weird getting funny messages after updating your internet security. Probably you had install Mcafee security at different drives and you updated only one leaving the other out-dated. To be safe in such a scenario uninstall the outdate or both of them and install Mcafee Internet Security version 10.0 hope you will read the amazing features that is equipped with.

There might be a problem with your license, which probably is out of date. Another thing to point out is, the updated virus database is only supported by newer versions of the virus scanner, so I would suggest upgrading your antivirus software with the latest release. Or try the Microsoft Security Essentials,as it is as powerful as any virus scanner, but free to Microsoft Windows users.
