Hi, I am having a problem in the installation of my D-LinkWBR 2310. It is showing error 112.

I have switched the modem for 10 minutes, but the problem didn’t solve at all.

If you have any information for solving this issue, then please let me know.

Hi.  In order to check this problem, you first have to check the physical connection between your router and the computer. Before proceeding you should have the user manual with you, if not the same can be downloaded here

The connections should be: that the wire from the modem should be connected to the routers internet port. Than connection between your computer and the port1 of router should be present

After performing the above, Re Boot the router / modem and your computer.

Now, go to Star- run- and type “cmd” (without quotations)

On the Popup black screen  type: “ipconfig /a” (again without quotation). The ip address of your computer will be displayed as well as the gateway, For the router it should be something like: 192.168.1.1.

If you still can’t see them, then the only reason could be that the router is defective.
