I am trying to assist a colleague of mine in recovering his deleted emails. He is using Outlook 2007 and after he changed the settings the folder that stores deleted data is no longer available. Now whenever a message is deleted it disappears completely. Please help for I have been unable to correct this situation.
My deleted messages folder is not available in Outloook2007
Hi Mario,
Which settings did your friend change? You may want to check if they can access Outlook Web Access for the email address. If that is possible you would be able to verify if the Deleted Folders is there. If it is there, that means you just need to recreate a profile in Outlook. To do that, you just go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add a new Profile > choose and configure the settings of Outlook as per what should needs to be the setup.
If it still not there you can try to go to File > Account Settings > Select Account and press change > More Settings > Deleted Items > Tick the "Move deleted items to the following folder" > Highlight Email Account > New Folder > Create one called "Deleted Items".
