This is a hardware problem. Simply follow these steps-
1. Switch off your computer and unplug it from the power supply.
2. Now remove the case from the CPU and restart your computer.
3. Locate the origin of noise.
4. Then switch off the computer and unplug it. It may be a faulty fan, loose wire or screw.
If you have no skill how to fix it, then you will have to call a computer technician to fix these type of problems.
Thank you.
if your PC is facing this problem then it has two problems !
1st one is the problem of your system power supply. Please check the connections of your power supply and then restart your computer and check your problem.
If your problem is not solved, then it is a problem of your processor fan which is used as a heat sink. If your processor fan is not working properly then the PC makes strange noises !
Hello Chel.henn,
The strange noises your PC is making might be as a result of a hardware problem. The cables inside the system unit may be disorganized and hence some of them might by interfering with the movement of the fan which is resulting to the noise.
So will advise, that you open the system and ensure that the cables are properly arranged, so that they do not cause interference with the normal rotation of the fan. Another reason for the occurrence of the strange noises may be that your fan has a problem.
Maybe dust has accumulated in it and therefore it cannot move with ease, and therefore you will have to dust off the system unit by using a blower.
