My download H264 Playback has failed to play files.

Hello Guys! I managed to download H264 Playback to use in playing my multimedia files. However, I am extremely disappointed since I cannot even play some files that even Zoom Player can play. I was certain that I would be able to play H264/MP4 files, but that has not been the case. Could there be something I am doing wrong? I am asking because their website says it should be able to play these file versions.

Hello there,

By H264 Playback do you mean the codec?

Because there is no player as such.

Usually what a codec does is, it enables other media players like Windows Media Player to play H264 files. So if you only downloaded the codec you need to open the file using some kind of media player.

Anyway the best way to play a H264 format file is using VLC (VideoLAN) Media Player.

It is free and open source and it is very easy to use.
